Dr. Oscar Moreno is the Conrad Jobst Research Fellow at the University of Michigan's Section of Vascular Surgery, working under the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Obi and Dr. Peter Henke. His research centers on biomarkers for deep vein thrombosis (DVT), innovative therapeutic interventions such as device coatings and nanoparticles, and device prototyping. In recent years, his team has developed several novel preclinical in vivo models to test stents and venoplasty balloons in thrombotic conditions.
